Favorite Book of the Month:

I absolutely loved this book!!! It was so amazing! I enjoyed seeing history from Jo’s eyes. She was spunky and loyal and wanted to make real change in her community. I think Lee’s writing was superb and she crafted a really strong, powerful story. Check out the link above for my full review of this one!
Least Favorite Book of the Month:

Even though I didn’t have any books that I absolutely disliked, I still have a least favorite of a month. So I’m going with Parental Guidance, since I thought it was just okay. I wasn’t blown away, but I didn’t think it was terrible. I’ve only read a handful of romance books, but I tried this one out because I love hockey. I thought I’d give it a shot. And it was just okay. I wanted more from the characters and especially more from the story. Even as far as romance genre standards go, it still missed a lot of marks.
How about you?

Oh wow, you did have a great August! My favorite book of the month has to be Crooked kingdom but then I have some kind of an obsession with that series. Besides that one, I really liked To Kill a kingdom. I honestly did not expect to like it that much
