This was a pretty stress-free reading month for me! Not only did I finish all my reading goals early, I also had some really good books come my way (my holds came up for me at just the right time at the library!). I read a bit more than I did last month and I feel like I ended the year pretty solidly!

Favorite Book of the Month:

I really enjoyed this book. I was a bit on the fence about it, since I felt like A Handmaid’s Tale didn’t need a sequel. One could say I was almost ready to not like this book. But it was actually really good. I enjoyed getting multiple POVs and the pacing of the book. I’ll speak more about it in my review, which should be coming out in this month.
Least Favorite Book of the Month:

I really, really did not like this book. Not only does the story layout really annoy me, it’s also peopled with really annoying, bitter people. I can safely say I didn’t like a single person in this book. I’ve never read anything by Atkinson before, and I’m not ruling out that I won’t read anything by her in the future since I did like the writing, but man was this book boring! The only, only reason I finished it was because I wanted to see the three mysteries solved. More in my review about why I hate this book!
