Books I Want to Read…
The Chaos Walking Series – Patrick Ness
I have had these books on my TBR forever! I have yet to read a Patrick Ness book yet, but I’m really excited to try this trilogy, especially since they’re making movie adaptations of it.
The Arc of the Scythe Series – Neal Shusterman
I acutely have to read Scythe for a class, so I figured I’d probably want to finish the rest! I have a friend who read this series and loved it, so I’m looking forward to giving it a try!
The Testing Series – Joelle Charbonneau
Another serious that’s been languishing on my TBR. I really like the sound of this series. I’m a fan of sci-fi, and I’ve heard good things about this series. I see these books go out all the time at my library, so I figured something about them has got to be great!
The Illuminae Files Series – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
Ok, ever since I started blogging, I’ve seen people being this series up in their own posts. There is so much hype about this series! I know I need to read it, if only to discover what all the fuss is about!
The Graceling Realm Series – Kristin Cashore
And yes, another serious waiting on my TBR to be noticed and read. I definitely want to get to this series, since it features a bad-ass heroine. Plus, the fantasy world sounds really cool!

The Knitpick 
I’d highly recommend The Illuminae Files. I found that Illuminae was easily the weakest out of the whole triology (I actually didn’t like it and wasn’t going to continue the series) and was over-hyped so definitely stick around for Gemina and Obsidio! The world of Arc of Scythe is so incredibly interesting and amazing to be in, I can’t believe you got to read Scythe for a class?!

Thank you! Yes, I will give The Illuminae Files a try. I will keep in mind about the first book – sometimes first books are the weakest in a series. I am taking a Teen Library Materials class, so all the books I’ve been reading this semester have been YA, so I’m super glad I’m getting to read Scythe!
