Welcome back, it’s Tuesday, which mean’s it’s also Top 10 Tuesdays, which is now hosted by Jana @ThatArtsyReaderGirl, make sure to check her blog out!
This week, we’re looking at our most anticipated book releases coming out in the latter half of 2021. I’m usually one of those people who stumbles upon books, rather than looking up new releases, but there are a few books/authors I do try to keep my eye on. There’s some really exciting stuff coming out this year, and I’m excited to see what books others are looking forward to, because it just means more books I can add to my TBR.
Anyways, here’s the list
I love mystery-thrillers and this one involves teens at an elite prep-school, where a close friend is found murdered and they are now being targeted as her killer. Spooky and intriguing!
I love Christina Lauren, so my ears definitely perked up when I heard they were writing another book. This one is another enemies-to-lovers plot line and I’m here for it!
Obviously since I loved Hoang’s previous two books, I’m deeply excited for her third. I am lucky enough to have scored an ARC of this, so I get to read it a little early. I’m so ready!
Through the author-Twitter sphere, I came across this book and I landed an ARC of it. I’m looking forward to this enemies-to-something-more story with a feminist bend to it.
This was a total surprise to me, but I’m so excited! I absolutely love Nix’s Old Kingdom series and this is a prequel, about Sabriel’s father and mother. I am so, so ready. It’s a gift I didn’t even know I wanted!
Though I have not yet read her Sorcery of Thorns book, I do plan to, as I really enjoyed An Enchantment of Ravens. This new book sounds really interesting – nuns with magic! It reminds me a little of a Garth Nix fantasy, so now I really want to read it!
I love Carson’s Gold Seer trilogy, so I tend to look out for any other books she might write. This one sounds intriguing – a near-future, post-apocalyptic story of a teenage girl who believes she’s the only surviving human on earth.
I really enjoyed Meyer’s Lunar Chronicles series, and now she’s coming out with a re-telling of Rumpelstiltskin, one of my favorite fairy tales. Sign me up!
9. Our Violent Ends | Chloe Gong (Nov. 16)
Yes, it’s the sequel to These Violent Delights and I am so nervous about it! I hope I enjoy it as much as I did the first one. I am optimistically apprehensive.
The final installment to this series is coming…I am hoping White takes it in a direction that I’m not expecting. I have so far enjoyed this series and I’m looking forward to seeing where Guinevere ends up.
How about you?
What are some of books you’re looking forward to coming out soon? Please post yours in the comments and share the love! I hope you enjoyed the post and thank you for stopping by!
