February goes so quickly and now it’s March, I almost can’t believe it. Spring is on the doorstep and I’m really looking forward to the warmer weather. How about you? This month is a TBR-heavy focus for me. I want to spend as much reading time this year focusing on books I’ve been wanting to read but haven’t made the time for. I am really excited by this line up and I hope they are all winners for me!
So, here is what I plan to read this month (we’ll see if that actually happens!):

Murder Most Malicious | Alyssa Maxwell – This is a book straight from my TBR. It’s been on there a while, I don’t really remember the details of the book, but since it’s an amateur sleuth mystery, I am looking forward to reading it. Plus, it historical fiction!
The Black Tides of Heaven | Neon Yang – Another book from my TBR, this one I remember being a highly-praised series. I like that it’s short, so I’m hoping I can just gobble it up and, if I like it, then maybe I’ll read the rest of the series, who knows?
The Aosawa Murders | Riku Onda – Okay, I just felt really nostalgic for murder/mystery and I requested a whole bunch of books from my library. It’s from my TBR, too, so there’s a good reason for picking it, as I really am trying to focus on TBR pile rather than constantly reading new stuff!

Heart & Seoul | Jen Frederick – I currently have this book checked out from my library. I snagged it after seeing it on a shelving cart, and I want to make time to read it. I’m excited. I do like reading romance, since they read so easy and quickly.
Coma | Robin Cook – I’m actually already in the middle of this book, for a book club I’m in. It’s actually been on my TBR for a long time, so it’s been nice to finally read it! It’s actually a medical mystery/thriller – I’m liking it so far, though it is very dated in it’s gendered stereotypes and portrayal of women (the author is male writing a female MC and it gets a bit cringe every now and then).
The Queen of Nothing | Holly Black – I checked this out a while back. It’s time I read it, and finished this series! I am looking forward to seeing how Black will end it. It looks to be a lot shorter than the other ones. I’ve enjoyed the series so far. I’m not over the moon about it, but it is a decent YA fantasy – and I’m needing a lot of fantasy, these days, to take my mind off of the harrowing current events.

What books are you reading this month?
If you’ve read any books from my list, let me know what you thought of them. Do you have any of these selections on your TBR? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to chat with you.
Stay tuned for reviews. Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have a great reading month!
